PBS and Burns should be embarassed by the degree of ignorance and concommitant resistance they are displaying. What is there to argue here? The documentary WAR is not the comprehensive work it purports to be. It is an inaccurate presentation of the men and women who served in WWII.

Our filmmakers and producers should step up to the plate and create works with our perspective on that war and other significant issues.

In the meantime, should we contribute to the PBS initiative to send in our own interviews with WWII vets? I think we should bombard them with interviews.
